The Kindness of a Reminder

Very recently, I found myself― somewhat reluctantly― asking another mother for help.  I say reluctantly only because I thought that I should be able to manage it all.  This wise mother of four said something that I have been sharing because it seems that we, especially women, have a penchant for trying to do it all.

"You have to ask for help," she said.  "We have to get over the Wonder Woman thing."

So much kindness in that simple reminder.
