The Kindness of a Gift of Chairs

"In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures.  For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed."
~ Khalil Gibran

One of my good friends has an eye for great design.  Her good taste is only superseded by her generous spirit.  A couple of months ago, I was showing her a style of chair that I wanted for my dining table and she told me, "Don't buy it -- absolutely not!"  I immediately thought that she did not like the style.  But she didn't want me to buy the chairs because she had been given several of the same style and she said she would give them to me.  Sure enough, I now have four beautiful chairs that I really wanted.  I recently received a call from her followed by a text with a photo of two chairs that she thought would look really good in my children's room.  The office next to hers was giving them away and she wanted to know whether I wanted them.  Funny enough, I had had my eye on those chairs.  My friend is always on the lookout for good design and for ways to make her friends happy.
