A very
special friend of mine went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago -- in a
spectacular blue dress. Everyone who saw
the photos told her how stunning she looked.
And she told everyone that a friend had lent her the dress. The friend who lent her the dress told her
that it did not make sense to say that she was in a borrowed dress, but my
friend had no problem with it at all.
She thoroughly enjoyed wearing the dress as well as the compliments that
she received. I also believe that my
friend understands what a blessing it is to have great friends who lend you
beautiful things and who want the best for you, and she has no problem
acknowledging that, too.
