One of the challenges of traveling, especially overseas, is that it is more difficult to post my blog. On a recent trip, after several unsuccessful attempts to connect via a loaned computer, I called my teenager who was home trying to relax during spring break. She very graciously sat at our home computer and took dictation while we spoke -- and I edited -- via FaceTime on her mobile phone. It would have been impossible without our modern technology, but it never would have happened had she not been willing to help and incredibly patient. And she never groaned. I appreciated it more than she could imagine.
