"I know what it is like to be
brought up with unconditional love. In
my life that came from my grandmother."
~ Andre Leon Talley
A dear mom
friend shared this story: Her
10-year-old son was having a hard time with Math, but she knew that he could do
it. He really wanted a Pokemon from
Build-A-Bear, so the mom told him that if he got an A on his upcoming math
test, she would get him the Pokemon.
Well, the boy managed to get a 100 on the test! When they called the local Build-A-Bear
store, the shop had sold out and the on-line store had sold out, too. My friend found the Pokemon at a store in the
town where her mother lives a few states away.
That store could not hold or mail the toy, but the grandmother showed up
at 10 am the next morning to get the prized Pokemon.
