― Anne Morrow Lindbergh
At an event
at her children's school, a teacher whom she did not know well approached her and said, "You are an
incredible mother." The woman was momentarily stunned. And the teacher continued, "I always see
you running around with your children and I can see the love you have for
them."
The teacher's
words echoed in the woman's head. If she
were coming anywhere close to the teacher's estimation, then she was
accomplishing her goal. On a Friday afternoon,
after a very long week, those few words of kindness made all the difference.
