― Richard Gere
In the
grocery store check-out line yesterday, there was a woman with a young boy,
just past the toddler years, but still young enough to be impatient.  A woman I know saw her and traded places in the
check-out line with her, so that the mother could go first and be on her way.  The mother seemed surprised and then very
appreciative.  It was a small kindness,
but just the kind to lift the spirit.
