Kindness and the Cone of Confidentiality

Some people call it the Circle of Trust.  A very good friend of mine calls it the Cone of Confidentiality.  But whatever we call it, it's about being with someone whom you trust to not only keep your secrets or private details safe, but also accept you foibles and all.  People who exist within your Cone of Confidentiality are the kind of people who would never betray someone else's confidence, which is the best indication that they won't betray yours.  And it is a treat to spend time with them because you can truly be yourself.
