Remembering Kindness

At an event recently, I ran into a woman I have known for years.  We became friendly when we both served on the alumnae board of our high school.  Although I don't see her very often now, one of the things I remember about her is that she sent me a sympathy card when my grandmother died.  More than 16 years ago.  It occurred to me after I left the event that I should tell how grateful I still am all these years later.
