Our regular
Friday night ritual involves meeting two other families at our neighborhood
pizza place. On a recent Friday, I was
tired from nearly a week of travel, but eager to sit down and relax with good
friends. One of the mothers from the
other two families was not able to persuade her children to join her, but no
matter, she came. As we sat in a booth,
I was deeply grateful to be back home and enjoyed every moment of our three-mom
chat.
