I love this
time of year – for many reasons. One of
them is the joy that people feel when they are able to help others, to give, to
be kind… An older woman I know collected
money from friends and added that to what she was planning on spending to
purchase Christmas toys for less fortunate children in her community. She spent a good portion of her weekend
raising the money and buying the toys, and her heart was filled with joy at
having been able to give more than she imagined.
