A couple of
months ago, my steadfast friend saw a necklace that she really liked on a mom I
know. I don’t know this mother well, but
I asked her if she remembered where she had gotten it, so that I could try to
get it for my friend. I ran into the
mother at a school event on a recent evening.
“You asked me about the necklace, right?” she asked. And then she took a box out of her purse and
gave it to me. It was the necklace, so
that I could give it to my friend.
Kind. Thoughtful. Generous.
