One of my son’s
former teachers came by for a visit recently.
She had not seen him for a while and wanted to stop by before the
holidays. I did not tell my son ahead of
time as I knew it would be a great surprise.
My son was absolutely thrilled when she arrived. They had a nice visit at our kitchen table. Over cookies, she listened as he shared
stories about his new school. And she
brought him a gift – a book she thought he might enjoy.
