We recently
were at a family dinner at a restaurant and I was touched by how much a teenage
friend of my children helped during the evening. She took many photos for me and when one of
my children needed to go to the restroom, this friend insisted on accompanying
her. This friend also entertained us on
the drive home with several songs that she played on her phone for us to sing
along to. When I look back on the
evening, this teenager’s kindness really stands out.
