I recently went to a friend’s house for a meeting about
an upcoming event at our church. I
imagined that she might have a couple of snacks for us, but she greeted us with
an amazing array of delicious treats ranging from Manchego cheese with fig
preserves to small spinach and cheese pies.
These were all things that she just keeps in her fridge or picked
up. No big deal, she assured us. And then she treated us to her homemade peach
cobbler!
