~ Carl Jung
One of my teenage daughters recently shared that several girls in one of the language classes at school decided to switch languages. The language they were leaving is a very difficult one, and neither my daughter not I think the change had anything to do with the teacher. But the teacher felt badly about the girls' leaving. One of the girls who stayed in the class made a card for the teacher telling her what a great teacher she was; this student had the other girls in the class sign the card, too. I imagine that it must be difficult as a teacher to have students who no longer want to learn what you are teaching, but how wonderful when there are kind and thoughtful students who care about you and want to boost your spirits. And teenage girls at that!
