Gift cards are always great presents. And I have received the range from gas cards to book store cards to one from my favorite store. But there is something special about a restaurant gift card. Recently, a colleague of my husband gave him a very generous gift card to a restaurant that we would normally not frequent. So off we went on a Saturday night and had a terrific evening together as a family, courtesy of my husband's colleague.
