The Kindness of Being a Good Storyteller

On a recent rainy morning as I was driving my son to school, he told me that he hoped it would keep raining.  He said something about PE class and I thought he meant that he did not want to go outside.  But it was something different.  "When it rains, we stay inside and Coach tells stories," he said, "and he is the world's best storyteller!"  How wonderful that an adult can capture a child's imagination in that way.
