A colleague
of mine was on her way to another city for business. The flight was delayed for several hours and
the passengers were not given any information about when the plane might leave. My colleague finally decided that she would
go to get something to eat, so she jokingly told another passenger that she needed
to get a drink. She went to a restaurant
close to the gate and ordered food.
Several minutes later, the passenger came to the restaurant to tell her
that the flight was leaving. She was
incredibly grateful and thanked him profusely.
