A few days
ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to spend an hour with a dear
friend. I don’t see him very often – the
last time was a couple of years ago. But
we have known each other for more than 30 years and we always manage to pick up
as though we had seen each other the day before. This last time, I commented on how much I
enjoy our conversations and that they are very honest. “That’s how it has always been between us,”
he said. And I was grateful again for
the incredible gift of connection and friendship.
