The Kindness of an Impromptu Visit

My lovely friend stopped by an evening activity that our children do together.  We ended up having a very nice and unplanned visit.  Fueled by a large bag of M&Ms that she had in her purse, we had ourselves a good chat.  I was especially grateful for the time together as my lovely friend is a terrific sounding board and I was able to run a couple of things by her.  She has common sense in abundance, an easy smile and a ready laugh.  It truly was the perfect end to a long day.
