Kindness in the Elevator

"Love and kindness are never wasted.  They always make a difference.  They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver."
~ Barbara De Angelis

An elementary school boy was getting into the elevator to go up to his apartment when an elderly gentleman using a walker slowly approached the elevator.  The boy held the elevator door open for the gentleman and asked him what floor he was going to.  The boy pushed the button for the older gentleman's floor and told the man he would accompany him.  When the door opened, the boy held it open again for the elderly gentleman.  "You're a very kind young man," the older man said.  And the boy beamed.
