When you are
a one-car family, you find kindness in rides.
On a recent evening, we were on our way to meet friends at our favorite
pizza place. I shared with one of the
other moms that I was going to call our local free ride-sharing service, but she
said she would pick us up. You don't
have enough room in your car, I pointed out.
No problem, she said. She dropped
off her children at the pizzeria and then came to pick up my children and me.
