A woman I saw
at church shared that she had recently been at the grocery store and had
greeted one of the gentlemen who bags groceries by his first name. She had read it off his name tag. The gentleman was very surprised and told her
that no one had ever greeted him first or used his name at work. It was a small kindness that made the
gentleman’s day, but it also buoyed the woman’s spirits.
