The other
day, we ran into one of my children's First Grade teachers. She was at the same restaurant where we were
having dinner. I told my son to go and
say hello, but he really did not need the encouragement. Every time that we see his former teacher,
she greets him with a big smile and seems excited to see him. She asks how he is doing -- all this even
though he has not been at the school where she teaches for more than three
years. I know that her warm greeting
makes him feel special and remembered.
