The Kindness in a Name

"A person's name is to him or her the sweetest and most important sound in any language."
~ Dale Carnegie

One of my teenagers recently recounted a kindness she experienced.  At school, she held a hallway door open for several other students.  One girl not only said thank you, but used my daughter's name, which meant a lot to my daughter.  "It made me so happy that she took the time to recognize my face and say my name,"  my daughter said.
