A friend of
my daughter's is going away to boarding school and wanted to spend some time
with my daughter before leaving. The
mother and I agreed that a Sunday afternoon would be a good time. Knowing that we were involved in an
all-consuming weekend project, the other mother offered to pick up and drop off
my daughter -- even though where we live is not close to her house. I greatly appreciated her thoughtfulness.
