It's back to
school!
Classes began
for most children in our area today and my son is attending a new school. I was very surprised to receive texts from
various people telling me that they were thinking about him and asking about
his new school. The messages came in
from friends as well as from his assistant teacher last year. I was especially surprised last night to
receive a message from one of his preschool teachers. Preschool was a number of years ago and it
touched my heart that she was still thinking of us as the new year begins.
A new
beginning at a new school can give a child -- and his parents -- a little bit
of angst. As with most things in life,
it is nice to know that others are cheering us on.
