One of my
children celebrated her birthday while we were out of town. About a week later, we met another family,
including my daughter's long-time best friend, for pizza. They brought a gift with a balloon as well as
cake festooned with Kit Kats! My
daughter was surprised and delighted, and I was grateful for their making her
feel so special.
