The other
day, one of my dearest college friends sent me a photo of this quote by
Aesop. She was waiting for a bus in New
York, saw the words on a sign in front of a temple, and thought of me. Her thoughtful text arrived -- as these
things somehow do -- at the perfect moment.
Kindness is never wasted.
