Two other mothers and I have a play group — even though our children are way past what one thinks of as play-group age. Four of the children in our play group are teenagers, one is a pre-teen and two are well... 10. But no matter, our play group meets most Friday evenings at our local pizzeria. It's part book club, part prayer group, part group therapy ... Hard to describe, but it is something that we three moms look forward to. Our children are safe and entertained, they are fed, and we get to talk and talk and talk. What could be better?
