The other
day, the teenage daughter of one of my dearest friends called and asked me if I
would "do something crazy." It
was the Fourth of July and she wanted me to take my family to join them to
watch fireworks -- at that very moment. Although
we couldn't go because we had other plans, her call made me smile and I thought
it was really sweet.
