A woman I
know had some routine blood work done, but worried about her results as some of
us tend to do. She was told that the
results would be sent to the doctor in three or four days. As the tests had been run on a Thursday, she
figured she would not hear anything until the following week. But at almost 7 pm on Friday night, her
incredibly wonderful and compassionate doctor emailed her with the good news
that all was well. Obviously, the doctor
could have started his weekend at 5 pm or earlier, but he didn't. When this woman emailed the doctor thanking
him, he replied, "just sharing kindness."
