~ Khalil Gibran
Not having a
kitchen presents unanticipated challenges.
Today it was no ketchup -- and I have a child who eats most things with
ketchup. As she looked at one more
take-out meal, she said, "We don't have ketchup" in that tone of
voice that conveys a bigger problem that might at first appear. So we did what we have never done before: we
actually knocked on a neighbor's door and asked if we could "borrow"
ketchup. Of course, the answer was yes
and back at home with ketchup, all was well with our world -- at least
temporarily.
