A family we
absolutely adore is moving to the other side of the world next week. Understandably, my children are not happy
about this. But trying to spend time
together before they go and creating yet more memories and laughter is the best
we can do. The children of this
wonderful family are among my children's best friends and to say that they will
be missed is an understatement. One of
my daughters in particular cannot imagine her life without her best friend, who
has been an almost daily companion for the last three years. As they prepare for this big move, these
children (and their mother no doubt) have been thinking about my children and
have given them a number of things of theirs to keep. One gift in particular has been quite a hit
-- a pair of water and light speakers.
As music plays, the water and lights go up and down. Since their arrival at our home, these
speakers have provided seemingly endless entertainment. They are a very nice reminder of a beautiful
friendship.
